Individual Assignment One

What is Frame Rate-Ravinthar http://animation-design.ft-leow.net/wp-admin/post.php?post=6367&action=edit

Frame rate describes both the speed of recording and the speed of playback. The more frames recorded per second, the more accurately motion is documented onto the recording medium.Recording and playback speed are usually the same, though they do not have to be. For example, if you film a stick man walking on a road at 24 frames per second, your movie will have 24 unique photographs of the position of the stick man. However, if you film at 100 frames per second, there are nearly four times as many photographs of the stick man position during the same period of time. The more frames per second, the more precisely the exact position of the stick man is documented. If you play back frames at a speed different from the original recording speed, you can create temporal effects such as time lapse and slow motion.

Introduction

I like to say thanks’ to my lecturer Miss.Leow Fui Theng to help me to finish my assignment on “WHAT is FRAME RATE?” and this report. Main reason of me doing this assignment and this report to prove that I have learn all the tools and skills on using of adobe flash CS6. On this report I also have explain all the skills that I have used to finish this assignment and the tool too. Same time I wish to explain on what is frame rate describes both the speed of recording and the speed of playback. The more frames recorded per second, the more accurately motion is documented onto the recording medium. Recording and playback speed are usually the same, though they do not have to be. For example, if you film a stick man walking on a road at 24 frames per second, your movie will have 24 unique photographs of the position of the stick man. Design Description

  • Colors

One of the most colours that I have use is black for background and red for fonts. This is because most of my design background is in black colour which is surrounded tribal symbol with grey faded. Thus, most of the fonts color is red to make as it be attractive for my assignment background. I use fading effect the camera picture used in my design. Besides that, I use white color for the stick man on very. I choose this color because most of public prefer a clear view on the image or text. I also have used different types of colors with special effects for the motion tween

  • Image

I have use some images from online source that all freeware image. On the background images for my assignment on the “WHAT IS FRAME RATE?” I chose freeware images due on copyrights issues to avoid from my assignment get issues. I change the image to be as static image to avoid the source of the image being affected. I drag the image to stage and lock it in a layer. Then, I use a different layer on top of the locked layer with image so that we can trace and draw a new picture and color it with suitable colors. I also did bitmap tracing for some images using adobe Photoshop. I used my own idea to make explanation on “what is frame rate?”

  • Sound

I downloaded background music from internet. The music that I choose is to for initial scene for the worm to show up on the stage only. I sound all that related to explanation on the frame rate I manage to use my own voice.

  • Animation

I use motion tween, shape tween and classic tween. I use fading effect for stickman to role the camera and the flash light effect. I use these tweens to make the image become as fade in and fade out for each image. The drawn image of the rectangle for the white board is also have been used motion tween to drag down for next page.My animation is relevant with the objectives of my design because I use all the necessary effects and technique to make my explanation on the frame rate.
